The theme addressed by the ISCHIA INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE PRIZE is the quality in accommodation. To accommodate, to host, to welcome are historically rooted vocations of architecture. The Ischia International Architecture Prize is assigned to implemented and documentable architecture works for the section “PIDA Prize”, while it is awarded for projects only for the section “PIDA Concept Prize”, respectively referring to the two macro-sections: Hotels (hotels, holiday farms, pensions) or SPA (thermal centers, thermal parks, beauty farms, beauty parlors). The works can refer to the realization of a new architecture project or to the recovery, the refurbishing, the enlargement of existing buildings, upon the condition that an explicit and autonomous dialogue with contemporary issues is clearly evident. From this year we add a new section, the PIDA Think 3D.
